R.U.N. Movie Night Tonight!!
It’s almost time for the big event, our movie night fundraiser in ILM’s old C Theater! If you would still like to buy tickets in advance you can send $50 per ticket to info@rainbowunicornnation.com via Paypal. Or you can show up at:

We are starting the party at 4:30pm with BBQ, drinks and cocktails, and the screening will begin at 5:30pm, after we draw prizes for our R.U.N. raffle. As a bonus, everyone who buys a ticket for the screening gets a free raffle ticket, so you could end up taking home one of our grand prizes just for showing up!

Happy Birthday Sue!
I know it’s been mostly all about the raffle prizes, bags of coffee and movie tickets for the last few weeks, but let’s not forget the reason we are getting together tonight: it’s Susan’s birthday today!!
What can I say? I still miss her terribly. Four months later, though, I also can appreciate all the blessings that come from weathering this crisis. The new friends I’ve made and the opportunity to bring together a community of loving, caring, generous people has transformed my world. That’s how I like to remember Susan now. She’s the person who brought me these gifts. Figures, on her birthday that she’d be doing something nice for us! SO like her.

Potting Shed Good Neighbor Benefit: Tomorrow!
I was just down there today doing a little pre-shopping with my Mom, and I can’t believe how darling all of their garden wares and gift items are! Movie Night Fundraiser This Saturday July 28th!
Some of us who worked at ILM might better remember Susan as ‘Bubbles’. Seeing this graffiti brings back so many sweet memories of working there, where I met Susan for the first time back in the 90’s.
I am really looking forward to this Saturday’s movie night! Being in the old ILM C Theater is going to be a trip for a lot of us, and I’m sure many people are curious to see the room where films like Jurassic Park, The Abyss and Terminator 2 came together in all their glory, so come join the fun!!
The address is 3210 Kerner Blvd, San Rafael 94901, and the doors open at 4:30pm for a BBQ and drinks and the drawing for our much vaunted R.U.N. raffle prizes! The screening starts at 5:30pm, and we’ll be watching some cartoon shorts (I’m told Tex Avery, if we’re lucky) before our main feature, ‘Bringing Up Baby’. Come for the drinks and nostalgia, stay for one of the greatest screwball comedies of all time! Tickets are $50, adults only please, and every penny goes to the Kelly-Andrews girls’ college funds.
